Biting The Bullet

Yesterday at brunch (or drunch as my friends like to call it- an oh so creative way to combine drinking and brunch) I brought up the topic of my blog. I asked my friends to push me to finally start writing it. The conversation went something like this: (K. and A. are friends)

Me: "Hey guys. I could really use your support in pushing me to start my blog."
K. & A.: "What blog? what's it about?"
Me: "It's called There's a Curvy Line... as in the expression 'there's a thin line between love and hate'. The curvy represents the ups and downs of life; body image; and sexuality. I've wanted to write it forever."
K.: "So do it!"
Me: "But I'm too anxious about what voice to use! I don't want to be too self-indulgent and narcissistic... but I also dont want to be too didactic and preachy... ahhh!!!!!"
K.: "What voice? Just use your voice! What are you afraid of?"
A.: "Man you think too much!"

So here I am. Biting the Bullet and Breaking the Ice.
